Pennsylvania Association of Social Work Education (PASWE) The Pennsylvania Association of Social Work Education (PASWE) was originally formed in 1973 as the result of discussions among emerging BSW programs across the state interested in advancing baccalaureate social work education. PASWE expanded to include all undergraduate and graduate social work education in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any university professors who teach social work related content are automatically members of PASWE. The current PASWE President is Dr. Alex Redcay, Millersville University.
